What is FFA Summer Leadership Camp?

Summer Leadership Camp is a week-long camp for FFA students from all over Georgia. The purpose of the week is to have fun while building leadership and teambuilding skills. Activities include competitions, dances, ropes course, assemblies, talent shows, free recreation, leadership training, and much more! Summer Camp is held at the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington. Food, travel and lodging are included in the registration fee as well as a camp shirt.

This is a chance for your student to build relationships, develop teamwork and leadership attributes, and have a great time! I encourage you to support your student to commit to attending Summer Leadership Camp. Remember, camp is only available to FFA members. If your child has not paid his/her dues of $22, time is still available to do so if he/she wishes to go to FFA camp.

If you would like your student to attend FFA Camp, please submit a nonrefundable registration fee of $80 by February 23, 2018. The final fee of $105 (total of $185) is due by May 1, 2018. After February 23 there will be an additional $20 late fee and your child will be put on a waiting list.

We will be going to camp the week of May 28 – June 1, 2018. We will meet at 8:00 am on May 28 at Bleckley County High School to leave for camp. You can pick up your student at 12 pm on June 1 at Bleckley County High School. We will contact you prior to camp to fill out the necessary forms and advise you as to what your student needs to bring to camp.
