The purpose of the Jr. Agricultural Mechanics Career Development Event is to provide an opportunity for students in grades 6-9 to practice those skills and abilities developed as a regular part of the agricultural education curriculum. The CDE is designed as an introductory event that provides experiences in agricultural mechanics and assesses the knowledge gained from classroom instruction. Each team member had to complete an electrical wiring circuit, take a written exam, complete a measuring practicum and compete in a tool identification component.

Dr. Walt Parks is the team’s advisor.
