Stone Mountain Park trip on September 10th, 2016.

While attending the park, members had the chance to participate in many different activities including miniature golf, sky ropes course, scenic train ride, and the summit sky ride. Members got to play over eighteen different holes on the miniature golf course which was a fun course based on the real-life adventures of the great locomotive chase. Members also watched the movie Yogi Bear in the 4-D theater where the seats jolted you and the water sprayed you

Members enjoyed the “Sky Hike”

The FFA members got to trek in the treetops on one of the nation’s largest adventure courses, Sky Hike, where they balanced their way along the course. This ropes course was over four-stories high and quite an experience. They also enjoyed the scenic views of Stone Mountain and the surrounding forest while riding the five-mile railroad loop on the scenic railroad then traveled 825 feet up to the top of Stone Mountain on the summit sky ride. Along with this, members were able to see an amazing spectacle of a show. The park displayed a laser show on the lawn right in front of the carving on the mountain.

This trip to Stone Mountain Park was a great occasion for all the members. They not only got to see the scenic views, but they also learned about the mountain and enjoyed the surrounding attractions of Stone Mountain. It was an awesome time for all who attended.
